Description:    IPC / /is the foundational, honors physical science course that will prepare students / /for upper level high school science studies such as Biology, Chemistry, and / /Physics.  Taught with a biblical world / /view, students will see how science affirms their faith.  The first semester includes Introduction to / /Chemistry.  The second semester includes / /Introduction to Physics.

IPC is a full lecture and laboratory course, including / /testing and weekly homework assignments, that will earn 1 high school honors / /science credit.  The class meets for 3 / /hours once weekly.

Laboratory exercises hone skills in deduction, / /reasoning, and problem solving, allowing the student to develop a deeper / /intellectual approach to their study of science.

A fall project will be assigned to study a famous / /scientist.

A spring project will be a science project, / /demonstrating an IPC concept covered during the year.

Pre-Requisites:  It / /is required that the student take Algebra 1 either before or while taking this / /course to be prepared for the calculations in the Physics portion of the / /course.
