/ This class is appropriate for students who have successfully completed a year of Pre-Algebra and have strong problem-solving skills. Class time will be spent teaching algebra concepts and applications. Students must be able to take detailed notes (quickly) from the board and copy examples worked in class to review at home. Students will use the textbook as a resource for reference, daily homework assignments, and test review.

/ Students should expect to spend as much time outside of class on their work as they do attending class per week. The class meets 1.5 hours on Monday and 1.5 hours on Wednesday for a total of 3 hours per week. This class will earn the student 1 high school honors credit in math.
