/ /Middle School Latin II continues in the same manner as MS Latin I. The first several lessons review the vocabulary from book one after which students will learn additional nouns and verbs, regular and irregular. They will learn to conjugate verbs in three tenses total; they will be acquainted with all five noun declensions, having mastered the third declension, which is the most intricate. This year?s work really cements foundational grammar concepts allowing students to move ahead to higher level study with confidence. / /

/ /We will continue our study of Classical terms, English derivatives and vocabulary enhancement, Greek & Roman mythology, and Roman culture and history, as time allows. / /

/ /LC is designed to precede Henle Latin, so the vocabulary is drawn nearly 100% from the Henle text, which is an advantage should students decide to pursue Latin into high school. Each week students are presented 10 Latin vocabulary words to memorize. We discuss their corresponding English derivatives which help greatly in memorization. The vocabulary and grammar concepts are presented systematically. Students can memorize information in an orderly and categorized manner that makes sense. / /
