/ /This pre-calculus course continues to explore algebra topics in more depth, including number systems, graphs, functions, polynomial functions, power functions and rational functions. Systems of equations will be stressed. We will also continue to work with exponential and logarithmic functions. Trigonometric functions will be introduced and studied in depth, continuing with analytic trigonometry and appropriate applications. In addition, analytic geometry in two and three dimensions will be studied. Students who do well in this class should be prepared to enter a college level calculus course. A teacher recommendation or a placement test will be required.
