/ /Middle School Latin II is a continuation of First Form Latin taught in MS Latin I. If your student has completed First Form Latin but is not yet ready for High School Latin, this is the class. / /

/ /Here we will continue laying the foundational bricks that will instill a greater understanding of the fundamentals of Latin, as well as ease a student?s transition into the demands of upper level Latin study. / /

/ /Memoria Press?s Second Form Latin continues in the same manner as First Form, adding the final noun declension, pronouns and prepositions, and the passive voice of verbs. Homework consists of memorizing paradigms, vocabulary, and rules, and completion of exercises in their Student Workbook. We will continue English grammar instruction weekly. Mythology, history, and Roman culture are additional topics for in-class reading and discussion. / /

/ /Through Caesar?s English we will delve more deeply into the advanced and classical vocabulary that derives from the Latin we are studying in class. Along with this, we will study English grammar through a four-level analysis. A concentration on grammar analysis is essential for Latin mastery as well as good writing. I don?t think I could have designed a more perfect book for our class! Caesar?s English takes the student to a deeper, richer study of western civilization?s heritage, not only through the study of vocabulary and grammar, but with beautiful photographs of the ancient world, its history, and its contribution to our lives. / /
