NOTE: THIS IS A TWO-DAY-A-WEEK CLASS THAT MEETS ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR EACH DAY INDIVIDUALLY. THE TIMES ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ON TUESDAY THAN ON THURSDAY.

/ /Using a textbook from Glencoe/McGraw-Hill Publishers (Glencoe Algebra II: ISBN 0-02-825178-4), we will extend the study of algebra 1 topics, covering them in more detail. We will also cover rational and radical expressions and equations, conics, and sequences and series. Often, we will apply concepts in real life applications. Graphing will be integrated into the teaching. A graphing calculator will be helpful.

/ /This class is appropriate for students who have successfully completed a full year of algebra 1. Having completed a full year of geometry will also prove helpful but is not required. Class time will be spent teaching the students advanced algebra concepts and applications. Students are to take detailed notes and copy examples done in class to review at home. Students will use the text as a resource for reference, daily homework assignments, and test review.

/ /A $5 late fee will be incurred for tuition payments received after the 10th of each month. A drop fee of two month?s tuition will be assessed if a student drops the class before the end of the year.
