Elementary Latin is a fun, fast-paced class where young scholars can memorize Latin nouns, verbs, adjectives, and more. English grammar instruction is incorporated into the lessons as well as Roman history, the geography of the area, a timeline, mythology, an understanding of how Western languages developed and flowed down through history, and more. We will meet once/week for 90 minutes. Additionally, students may logon to the Quia class page which facilitates learning through games and quizzes.

/ /Latin itself is a highly organized and systematic language. Through the study of it, students learn the process of disciplined, systematic study habit as well as an overall understanding of how languages work. If your student chooses to continue with Latin, this foundational knowledge will be a significant factor in his/her success.
