/ /Using a textbook from Glencoe/McGraw-Hill Publishers (Glencoe Algebra / /II: ISBN 0-02-825178-4), we will extend the study of Algebra 1 topics, / /covering them in more detail. We will also cover rational and radical / /expressions and equations, conics, and sequences and series. Often, we / /will apply concepts in real life applications. Graphing will be / /integrated into the teaching. A graphing calculator will be helpful.

This class is appropriate for students who have successfully completed a / / full year of a

Algebra 1. Having completed a full year of Geometry will / /also prove helpful but is not required. Class time will be spent / /teaching the students advanced algebra concepts and applications. / /Students are to take detailed notes and copy examples done in class to / /review at home. Students will use the text as a resource for reference, / /daily homework assignments, and test review.

/ /A $5 late fee will be incurred for tuition payments received after the / /10th of each month. A drop fee of two month?s tuition will be assessed / /if a student drops the class before the end of the year.
