Students will explore several forms of art media and the seven elements of art (line, shape, value, color, space, form, texture). Techniques in value, foreshortening, line of action, perspective, etc. will all be explored and applied.  Some of the materials utilized throughout the year include: colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, ink, acrylic paint, watercolor & more!

/ / By developing strong art techniques, the student will gain confidence in their own creativity, improve their visual analysis skills, learn from mistakes, and make better critical judgements.

/ / The nonrefundable $70 supply fee will cover a majority of the art supplies provided in class (brushes, paint etc.) The student is required to purchase "sketchbook supplies” that will be needed to complete weekly homework assignments: a sketchbook, drawing pencils, a polymer eraser, a pencil sharpener, colored pencils and a ruler (the $70 supply fee does not cover this).

/ / Tuition is due on the first class day of each month and can be made via check or PayPal. Late fee is $10 every week the payment is late.
