My goal is to
/
/make Spanish engaging, fun, and challenging for your student. The most
/
/important thing for the students to discover is that learning another language
/
/is fun and will be useful throughout their lives. They are encouraged to
/
/participate without hesitation in an environment that is supportive and open to
/
/experimenting with Spanish. I desire to communicate not just the nuts and
/
/bolts of the language, but its practical use in everyday life.
/
/
/
/ In this
/
/second year of high school Spanish, the students will build on their earlier
/
/foundation of Spanish 1 skills as they broaden their ability to communicate.
/
/They are one step closer to becoming fluent. This is an exciting year for your
/
/student because he begins to see the effort of the first year begin to pay off.
/
/
/
/* Students will learn to apply and refine their grammar and vocabulary
/
/skills.
/
/
/
/* Students will journal about their day-to-day life in Spanish.
/
/
/
/* Students will be assigned major grade projects though oral
/
/presentation.
/
/
/
/* Students will use the internet for: quizzes, workbook & textbook
/
/exercises, listening activities, flashcards, and games.
/
/
/
/* Students will play fun and engaging games in-class and online.
/
/
/
/* Students will have about 4 hours per week of HOMEWORK (this does not
/
/include time needed to memorize words).
