NOTE: THIS IS A 2 DAY A WEEK CLASS. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR BOTH TUESDAY AND THURSDAY SEPARATELY. THE CLASS IS 30 MINUTES LONGER ON TUESDAY THAN IT IS ON THURSDAY. / /

/ /Students must have completed an Algebra I course successfully to enroll in Geometry. We will study the branch of mathematics dealing with points, lines, planes, and solids, and examine their properties, measurement, and mutual relation in space. We will also do geometric proofs, which are a great tool to teach thinking skills! TEXTBOOK: Glencoe Geometry / /

/ /Students must supply their own compass, protractor, ruler, and scientific calculator. Graphing calculators are fine, but not necessary. / /

/ /Students will be expected to take detailed notes during classes and to complete daily homework assignments using their notes and textbooks for reference. Parents may be asked to supervise some testing at home to allow the best use of classroom teaching time. Both parents and students will be asked to sign a code of honor. Please note that there is a two month drop fee after the first month. / /For returned checks, you will be charged whatever my bank charges me for the first occurrence. Additional returned checks will be charged the bank amount plus $15. / /
