  • Opposing world views are discussed throughout the / / course allowing students to see the truth of scripture through scientific / / study.

  • Each scheduled / /Monday, students will log in and watch the recorded lecture that includes a / /lecture outline for student notes.

  • Homework is done / /outside of class and discussed during the class discussion time.

  • Labs will be / /virtual: The student watches the recorded lab with micrographs and completes / /and uploads the provided laboratory exercise outside of class.

  • If the student owns / /a microscope, many of the exercises may be done at home.

  • Dissections are / /virtual.

  • Class discussion is / /each scheduled Thursday at 2:00-2:55 CST.  / /Review of assigned questions, student questions and worldview topics are / /the focus of class discussion time.

  • Testing is done / /outside of class using Canvas online testing.

  • Grades are 50% test / /scores and 50% lab scores. One test and one lab will be dropped each semester.

  • This course will earn 1 high school honors credit in / / science.

  • Parents provide the textbook, Bob Jones 4th Edition, Biology. (a digital text also is available at BJUP)

    Students and instructor will interact with each other in real time.  The instructor will use the provided whiteboard and other tools available in the classroom to conduct the class.  A student may ask questions and respond to prompts by ?raising his/her hand? and either speaking into the microphone or typing into the chat box on the page.
