We will study the basic operation skills (+,-,x,/) with integers, fractions, decimals and percents, which make up the core operations for higher mathematics. We will also learn simple equation solving skills. If time allows, we will touch on a few other areas as well. Pre-Algebra covers important math skills that prepare the way for a successful transition to Algebra 1 as well as beginning high school science courses.
