?The earth is the Lord?s and all it contains, the world and all who dwell in it.? Psalm 24:1. This class is designed to teach high school students about the world God created. Students will discover physical features, political facts, and cultural aspects of the world. An emphasis will be placed on missions. Homework will consist of Bible readings, keeping an application journal, writing state, country, and book reports, completing maps and worksheets, creating posters and brochures, studying for quizzes, and taking tests. Tests are cumulative. Class work includes sharing Bible lists and journals, presenting reports and projects, enjoying videos and guest speakers, taking quizzes, and playing review games. Students should plan to spend a minimum of one hour each school day on homework. Students will need a current atlas, which is easy to read, but thorough. Reliable and convenient access to the Internet for research purposes is essential. The curriculum and Operation World will be supplied by the teacher.
