IPC is the foundational, honors physical science course that prepares students for upper level high school science studies (Biology/Chemistry/Physics). Introduction to Chemistry is one semester and the introduction to Physics is the second semester. It is required that the student take Algebra 1 while taking this course to be prepared for the calculations in the Physics part of the course. This is a full lecture and lab course including testing that will earn 1 high school honors credit in science. Two projects are assigned during IPC. Students prepare a guided research paper during the fall semester and a science project demonstrating an IPC concept during the spring semester. Homework: 1-1.5 hr/day.

/This class meets for 3 hours once weekly. The Laboratory Fee and Mrs. Snow?s science form are due before the student?s place will be held in the class. The Lab Fee is non-refundable after August 1st.
