This is a comprehensive honors study of God?s biological creation using laboratory studies, lecture, testing and outside research. Cellular studies lay the foundation for the kingdoms and phyla and then the human body unit. Two projects are assigned students during the year. In the fall, students prepare a guided research paper on Creation versus Evolution, and during the spring semester, they prepare a Wildflower collection. / /

/ /Students are stretched academically by the opportunity to read medical journal articles during the human body unit which enhance class discussions and prepare them for research in college level classes. Opposing world views are discussed throughout the course allowing students to see the truth of scripture through scientific study. Geometry is the recommended math to accompany biology. This course will earn 1 high school honors credit in science. / /

/ /Parents provide the textbooks for their students. Texts used are Bob Jones, 4th Edition Biology and Biology Laboratory Manual. Only student texts are to be purchased. / /

/ /Class meets for 3 hours once weekly. Homework: 1-1.5 hr/day. / /

/ /The Laboratory Fee and Mrs. Snow?s science form are due before the student?s place will be held in the class. The Lab Fee is non-refundable after August 1st.
